Abstract

Despite the expansion and development of artificial intelligence in all aspects of human life, the problems related to liability arising from the performance of artificial intelligence remain unresolved.the most important solutions to solve these problems is liability insurance for artificial intelligence systems.Insurance can be a monitoring and governance tool, while guiding the behavior of insurance-related institutions, and also be a solution to complex liability issues. This research, employing a descriptive-analytical method, aims to examine the insurability of artificial intelligence systems and the impact of the insurance industry on artificial intelligence, considering the current infrastructure. The present article will provide solutions to address the obstacles in the insurance industry for insuring artificial intelligence systems in a manner that encourages development and innovation while proactively preventing losses and fully compensating in the event of damage and losses. The results of this research show that the insurability of artificial intelligence faces obstacles, but these obstacles can be overcome through solutions such as government regulation, reinsurance, securities Insurance, compulsory insurance, and compensation funds should be eliminated. Therefore, AI insurance plays a regulatory role and, along with other laws, can prevent losses, while ensuring that compensation for the risks resulting from these losses is not imposed solely on producers.
